Algeria Press Service (APS) journalist Djamila Djerrar died Monday, in Algiers, following an illness at the age of 61, her family has said.
Holder of a BA in journalism, the deceased worked in many sections at the news agency. She was deputy editor-in-chief of the reporting services and correspondent of APS in Paris between 2010 and 2014.
Born on 24 April 1958 in Algiers, mother of a girl, Djamila Djerrar was buried in the cemetery of El-Alia, Algiers.
