Algeria's national football team, winner of 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Cairo on Friday night, has returned from the Egyptian capital on Saturday afternoon.
Air Algerie plane transporting Baghdad Bounedjah's teamamtes, landed at Houari-Boumediene International Airport at 2 p.m.
Captain Mahrez, carrying the trophy, the head of Algerian Football Federation, Kheireddine Zetchi, and the national coach, Djamel Belmadi, were the first to get off the plane.
The Algerian delegation was welcomed by Prime Minister Noureddine Bedoui, Minister of Youth and Sports Salim Raouf Bernaoui, as well as members of the Government.
Belmadi's players snatched the African title after their 1-0 win over Senegal in AFCON 2019 final at Cairo International Stadium Friday night.
The only goal of the game was scored by Baghdad Bounedjah at the 2nd minute.
